Press release: the state attempts to avoid discussing the morality and legality of the punitive house demolition policy

HaMoked's press release following the state's response to the joint petition, filed by HaMoked and seven other human rights organizations, seeking court review of the legality of using Regulation 119 of the Defense (Emergency) Regulations for punitive house demolition. HaMoked maintains that by asking the court not to address the substantive and principle arguments raised in the petition, the state "attempts to avoid discussing the morality and legality of the punitive house demolition policy".
