HCJ 8134/14 - Abu Jamal et al. v. Minister of Interior Urgent Petition against Deportation from Israel

HaMoked's urgent petition to the HCJ to instruct the State not to deport the widow of one of the assailant's in an attack at a synagogue in Har Nof on November 18, 2014. HaMoked claims that no claims have been brought against the woman; that the decision to revoke her stay permit in Israel completely ignores the existence of her minor children; and that the alternatives stemming from her expulsion from Israel - separating her from her three young children, or the expulsion of the children, who are permanent residents of Israel, with her - seriously harm their rights and contradict the principle of the child's best interest.
