HCJ 4019/10 - HaMoked: Center for the Defence of the Individual et al. v. Military Commander of the West Bank et al. Petition for Order Nisi

Petition by HaMoked and 15 other human rights organizations, to instruct Israel to cease its policy of forced deportations of Palestinians from their homes. The organizations demand that Israel be ordered to update the copy of the Palestinian population registry it holds, because its refusal to do so violates the Interim Agreement and legislation on the subject of population registry. The organizations demand that Israel cease the forced removal of people living in the West Bank to the Gaza Strip based on their addresses in the copy of the population registry held by Israel, because it does not have the authority to do so in international or military law. Such removal violates the residents' right to choose their place of residence in their own country, stemming from Israeli and international law.

Updates
