HCJ 11344/03 – Salim et al. v. Commander of the IDF forces in Judea and Samaria
Petition for Order Nisi and Urgent Hearing
The Association for Civil Rights in Israel petitioned against the failure to set fixed times to open the crossings in the separation fence, and demanded that they be opened twenty-four hours a day. The fence separates residents of nearby villages from their fields, their workplaces, the medical treatment centers, and schools. As a result, the failure to keep the gates open infringes fundamental rights of tens of thousands of Palestinians, and makes their lives intolerable.
